A bed perfect for 'Sleeping Beauty'!

Am such a sucker for browns, slates and creams. Yes am talking about colours. I always feel that they complement each other perfectly. 

I stumbled across this bedroom interior style at the 2011 100% Design Exhibition, Earls Court, London. I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. Unfortunately I didn't note the name of the company that exhibited this. 


But all the same I was able to capture the essence of the design especially the mix of the different textures, fabrics and colours. The bold wallpaper is so on point too. This warm colour scheme is also given a nice twist with a pair of mustard-yellow cushions.

A Headboard's Headline details!

Isn't the intricate detailed design on this bed's headboard just so finely done! Never seen anything like this. Kind of tropical and looks like a plant flowering. Am digging the cool blue colour as well. What do you think it looks like? 


The play of colours go so well with each other. The slate-colour wall and the light-blue headboard.

Headboards are making HEADLINES .......

Who would have thought it haay. That the headboards that so remind us of our grandparents and the 60s are making very bold statements NOW!!!

Now this is very clever - A headboard created from 'bookcovers'. What an ingenious idea!!!

Now this will solve any disputes over which side is whose. Talk about very clear statements.

These ones have an Art Deco theme going on. Absolutely fabulous!
