We Wish you a Merry Christmas ..........

Here's wishing you all a "VERY MERRY XMAS" from Dezine Konnections Interior Designs.

Time to be with family and friends, be joy and merry. But also time to reflect on the the less fortunate ones in the world ~ don't forget the reason for the season!!! And make the best of it.

Unfortunately it isn't a 'White Christmas' here in the UK (although we had snow the previous week). Maybe in 2012 (fingers crossed).

Anyone needing a Christmas garland ..................

All sorts of christmassy garlands have come out of the closet this season especially now that people are feeling the pinch. The trend I've been experiencing is a mix of traditional and shabby-chic. Recycling and 'Upcycling' are the latest buzz words used in home furniture and accessories as well as fashion.

Have you had breakfast yet? This garland is made out of fruity cheerios and popcorn.

What does your Christmas Wreath say about you?

I am always fascinated at this time of the year with the creative christmas wreath displays in peoples homes, shops, shopping centres, community halls, churches, schools. You find them everywhere really.

A christmas wreath is a basically made up of leaves (could be green, orange and brown), dried winter fruits, flowers, twigs etc.(you get my drift). It represents the 'coming of christ' and you find them adorned literally everywhere during the advent season.

This beautiful brown christmas wreath is from Pottery Barn. I like it very much. I love it's simple design.

As the 'Shabby-Chic' and 'Vintage' trends are in vogue now, here are some fabulous wreaths I've discovered along my trails ..............................

Isn't the teddy bear just adorable? This can be bought at Wild Mountain Wreaths where you'll find a whole load more.

Some christmas wreaths shy away from the traditional christmasy colours that we are used to. What do you think of this powder blue and white wreath?
