I decided to write this post around 'Back to School'. As all parents know,
this can be quite a demanding time both financially and emotionally. Your child might have blossomed into a pre-teen/teenager and you may need to change how their room caters for their needs. I mean it might need a full makeover! A lick of paint, out with old and in with the new furniture, space planning and all. Am talking about a brand new look and design!
As I am a strong advocate of sharing ideas and inspiring others, here are some ways you can change and accommodate study areas into your children's spaces.
Tip: If there's not enough space in the rooms for a study area, you can carve one out of a dead or empty space in your home. Like under the stairs, in the hallway, a corner of the kitchen, an alcove in the living room wall or even using the dining table as a converted study base.
}My take on study areas ~ A simple space works wonders, make sure there is sufficient lighting and also the space can have some fun highlights too!~
